Message From The Founder

My first love was primary education. My second love was philanthropy. After college, I became a school principal, and after a few years, I noticed that I was collecting people and helping them explore their possibilities. That is how my philanthropic spirit was released.

Almost two decades ago, I moved to Northern Jersey. My first Jersey job was working as a concierge and receptionist at a nursing home.

Talking to the residents and their families, I found myself educating, solving problems, and helping others through difficulties.

There was only one thing. I lacked the knowledge of the needs and challenges associated with living in a nursing home, so I started a college course on gerontology.

One day came, our smiling mailman with a flyer announcing the opening of a brand new school of nursing. I read the flyer, word for word, back and front, a few times over, and then something clicked in me. Ah, that was my missing element, so I enrolled and became one of the first nurses to graduate from what was then Jersey College School of Nursing.

Between the experience of being a school principal, my philanthropic spirit, the college courses on gerontology, and a nursing license, I felt like I could make a difference, so I started to work as a nursing home and rehabilitation nurse. It felt like a natural progression, but something soon became apparent; the patients who were going home from our rehabilitation services were being readmitted for lack of adequate care and lack of adequate therapy in the home.

I saw firsthand the challenges of finding reliable, trustworthy, affordable, and life-enhancing home care, so just like that, I decided to start a business so that I could make a difference.

I have combined my experiences, my caring heart, my philanthropic spirit, my education, my skills, and my gift of nurturing into a unique service, and I am very passionate about it.
